Mayhew Launch Site Celebration Paddle

Join us on this group paddle as we celebrate the new launch site on the St. Joseph River at the Mayhew Rd. bridge! We want to celebrate the fruits of our labor with all the paddle people in NE Indiana for our virgin voyage from this brand new access site to Shoaff Park (Approx. 1.5 - 2 hour paddle)!!

Bring your own watercraft, or rent one from Fort Wayne Outfitters and Bike Depot at https://fwoutfitters.com/paddle-trips/.

If bringing your own watercraft, we recommend you drop it off with our valet at the Mayhew Road launch site then take your car to Shoaff Park. We encourage you to come with a friend and have two cars (one at each access site) but there will be a limited number of seats available for livery service from Shoaff to Mayhew for a $10 fee. Shuttle from Shoaff Park will leave at 6pm exactly. You must notify us by August 7th if you plan to use the livery service. (https://neiwatertrails.com/contact).

The NEI Water Trails team worked to facilitate this launch site going in, and thanks to the Allen County Commissioners and the IN DNR Division of Fish and Wildlife's Boat Access Program, we finally have a safe access site for man powered and motorized watercrafts on the 13.5 miles of flowing water between the Cedarville Reservoir and Shoaff Park. Let's experience this awesome section of river together!
