September Paddle Social - Pigeon River

Location State Road 327 (41.651744, -85.174171)

Join us on September 14th for an amazing paddle on a less traveled stretch of the Pigeon River! We will put in at SR 327 and paddle 3.5 miles to Spero Bridge. This paddle features scenic forested banks which bring with it sounds of birds singing and a variety of wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for blue heron, sandhill cranes, river otter and more!

There is parking at both access sites if you are staging your own vehicle. However, we will be offering a shuttle from CR N 1100 E back to your vehicle if needed. If you wish to take advantage of the shuttle you must reserve your spot by emailing our paddle host, Kristen by 12-noon on Friday, Sept. 13 at Kristen.Buell@cityofFortWayne.org. We can't wait to see you on the Pigeon!
