Outfitters & Liveries
You don't need to own your own watercraft to take advantage of our flowing waters. You can rent canoes, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards, from eight liveries in NE Indiana on the Wabash, Salamonie, Pigeon, Fawn, St. Joseph, St. Marys, and Maumee Rivers. There are also watercraft rentals at many of the State Parks (though those boats must stay in the park). Many of these liveries also sell essential paddling gear, are experts in the waterways they service, and are often a wealth of knowledge when it comes to paddling. Offering 6 river trip options, traveling through 13,000 acres of the scenic Pigeon River Fish and Wildlife Area with a 70 site campground available on the same property. All campsites are located along the riverside with electric and primitive sites. There is a retail and camp store on property that includes: paddle accessories, vintage apparel, camping and fishing gear, firewood, ice, and snacks.

Offering 4 paddle trips, plus camping. Canoeing and kayaking trips from 2 hours to all day, and access to 6 fishing lakes. There are large primitive camp sites along the Pigeon River and nearly 100 acres to roam at Pigeon River Canoe and Camp.

Located in Mount Etna on the Salomonie Reservoir; Rustic River Outfitters currently offers canoe, kayak, and paddle board rental to enjoy on the Salamonie River with trips anywhere from 2 hours to 6.5 hours. Rustic River is also located within beautiful scenery where you can enjoy the river by land on a nature hike, or by sitting by one of its three fire pits.
