Paddling Forward into 2026

We invite you to participate in our virtual auction to Paddle Forward Into 2026! Preview starts November 4th with auction going live at 9am on Nov 9th through 8pm on Nov 15th. 

With a goal of improving the water quality of the 566 miles of flowing waters in northeast Indiana, the Northeast Indiana Water Trails is a regional partnership working to increase recreation opportunities on our waterways by promoting boat access, water safety and stewardship, and the development of regional water trails that will empower our citizens to become more active and unified in our water resources. 

NEIWT is paddling forward by offering new programming to engage area youth with our rivers. In 2026, we will be offering free Learn to Paddle classes, led by certified paddling instructors, for kiddos and their families. These classes will offer experiential learning opportunities beyond learning how to control your boat and water safety. These classes will educate youth on river ecology, wildlife, hydrology, and conservation careers. With the goal of engaging 200 individuals with our rivers, we need your help!

Proceeds from the Paddling Forward into 2026 virtual auction will benefit youth programming in the coming years.  So, with the holiday season approaching, find some great gifts, or something for yourself to help us paddle forward into the new year of opportunities on our rivers!

Some auction items can be mailed directly to the winner (gift certificate packages) but all will be available for picked up in Fort Wayne at Healing Hands Spa and Boutique (6527 Convington Rd) during business hours between Nv 18 and Dec 13.  We are happy to arrange an alternative pick-up if necessary.  Just reach out to us to make arrangements.
