Water Trail Safety

Paddling is a safe and fun recreational activity but it requires planning, preparation, and proper equipment.  To ensure your safety, always wear your Personal Floatation Device (PFD); plan your trip before you leave shore; follow all safety, danger, and directional signage; and portage at all dams.
